Tonight, we went to the Large Group that was done in Japanese and a couple from our team shared their testimony. It was great! One of the highlights was hearing the 12 Steps and Biblical Comparisons read in Japanese and the Serenity Prayer at the end.

Today was day one of the CR Festa (Festival) in Tokyo www.celebraterecovery.jp. A CR Mission team from Central Christian in Las Vegas are here to share what God has done in our lives through CR. It was so great to hear the testimonies of those that have been through CR here in Japan.
Tonight, we went to the Large Group that was done in Japanese and a couple from our team shared their testimony. It was great! One of the highlights was hearing the 12 Steps and Biblical Comparisons read in Japanese and the Serenity Prayer at the end.

Hi Bob, I’m Bruce Koeser. We help run the CR in Boca Raton FL – at SonCoast Church. We were down in Lima on a Missions Trip, visiting Jack and Milena Meier, who are organizing and helping to open CRs in the Lima/Rimac areas of Peru. While we were down there 2 weeks ago, Jack and Milena organized a meeting of 30 – 40 Pastors of churches in that area, and we got a chance to speak to and encourage the Peruvian Pastors to prayerfully consider opening CRs in their churches. We used a lot of materials we got from you in the One Day session we attended in Jacksonville, FL this year. Jack shared his heart and vision for CR, my wife Linda did a sample teaching (on Denial – Lesson 1) and I spoke on the process we went through in preparing to start our CR 5 years ago.
Jack has already heard from a couple of Pastors this week that they would like to open CRs in their churches in the Lima area. Is there some assistance or help you could lend to them? Jack’s e-mail address is listed above (jacmi0908@hotmail.com). Could you please communicate with him, or ask someone to get in touch with him? We at SonCoast will be helping open as many CRS in the Lima/Rimac area as the Lord wants, and we could use some help.
We’ll try to send some pictures of the meeting we had with the Pastors – it went very well.
Please contact Jack or me if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Bruce Koeser
